Comrade David Mafabi:The Unsung Presidential Aide and Senior NRM Cadre
Comrade Ndugu David Mafabi, a Senior Presidential Advisor for Political Affairs in charge of Special Duties in State House Uganda, has emerged as a key figure in Uganda’s political landscape. With his vast experience and unwavering dedication, Mafabi has earned the trust of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and become an indispensable asset to the National Resistance Movement (NRM). David Mafabi is also attached to the Office of the NRM National Chairman by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to coordinate special Duties.
David Mafabi is a highly dedicated and serious Cadre of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and a devoted Presidential Aide to General Yoweri Museveni. His loyalty to the NRM and the President is unwavering, earning him admiration and respect similar to that accorded to Faruk Kirunda, another esteemed Presidential Aide cherished by President Museveni, top NRM leaders, and party members.
Mafabi is a strong advocate for the Parish Development Model (PDM), believing it has the potential to transform communities. He has passionately expressed his support for deepening the PDM, emphasizing its importance in driving development and improving lives.
Mafabi’s journey began in Mbale, where he rose through the ranks to become one of the few most trusted NRM Cadres and Presidential aides. Mafabi’s expertise in communist theories, including Deng Xiaoping’s theories, Mao Zedong’s thoughts, the three theories of represents, Marxism-Leninism, and more, has equipped him to navigate Uganda’s complex political landscape. He is well-versed in the principles of communism, including the importance of class struggle, the role of the proletariat, and the need for a socialist revolution. Mafabi’s understanding of communist ideology has informed his approach to policy-making and his commitment to social justice. David Mafabi is a nominee to be inducted by Public Opinions in the 2024 Uganda Development Champions Journal on the ranking of the Uganda TOP100 Development Champions.
