Public Opinions is involved in creating awareness on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) or the United Nations Vision 2030.Our operation area is East Africa (Uganda,Kenya,Tanzania,Rwanda,Burundi and South Sudan) though we aslso have links in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC),Somalia and Zambia and Sudan.
Its important to note that majority of people in all sectors in East Africa dont know about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Its worse that even leaders in Local Governments,Political Leaders,Business Leaders,Religious Leaders and Youth leaders hardly understand the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The attainment of the United Nations Vision 2030 will be a dream if less is done on Awareness on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We are calling upon well established NGOs,Universities and corporations around the world to join us in creating mass awareness on Vision 2030 in East Africa.
Our campaign is purely field based and it involve activities in communities such as;
- Consultative Meetings
- Leadership Based Workshop
- Awareness in trading Centres
- Students Debates and Dialogues
- Youth Dialogues
- Dissemination of publications on UN SDgs
- Radio talk shows
- Social Media engagements
- Field tours of public and Private funded projects in communities
In 2017,We published and distributed over 200,000 Posters on Understanding the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to people,youth and students in some trading centres in Uganda.
Our Plan is to print and distribute 1 Million United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Posters in 2018 in Uganda,Kenya,Tanzania,Rwanda,Burundi and South Sudan and part of Eastern Democractic Republic of Congo (DRC).
