Fellow citizens of Kayunga, Let us all embrace the Uganda Population Census 2024

As the NRM Flag Bearer for Kayunga District, I urge each and every one of you to participate in the ongoing Uganda Population Census 2024. This exercise is crucial for our district’s development, and I implore you all to embrace it with enthusiasm.

I have visited different parts of my district Kayunga and iam concerned that the district still faces challenges of health facilities, schools, vocational centres and above all our people have not been able to benefit from the available good government programs. This is partly due to limited information, public Awareness and limited knowledge on the number of people especially youth, Women and PWDs in Kayunga district. For better planning, I call upon all my people in kayunga especially the youth, women and PWDs to embrace the population census. It’s ending on 19^th May 2024.Go and get counted today.

As we strive for proper planning and resource allocation, it is essential to know the exact number of people in our district. Our youth, women, and people with disabilities are a significant part of our community, and their inclusion in this census is vital. However, we cannot effectively plan for their needs without accurate data.

I call upon our local leaders, politicians, and religious leaders – pastors, sheikhs, and church leaders to encourage their constituents to get counted. Your influence and support are crucial in mobilizing our people to participate in this exercise.

To the boda boda cyclists-you are my dear friends; please make sure you are counted! Your contribution to our district’s economy and social fabric is significant, and we need to account for your numbers then plan for you. My duty is to reach out to you, organize you, engage you and promote your agenda. Be assured of my availability and determination to promote you.

By participating in the census, we will: Ensure accurate planning and resource allocation, Enhance service delivery and infrastructure development, Empower our youth, women, and people with disabilities, Strengthen our community’s voice in national development

Let us get counted and shape the future of Kayunga District!
