The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control recognized by Public Opinions with the 2024 Responsible Investment Global Certification Award as the most trusted Government Institution
The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control has been recognized by Public Opinions with the Responsible Investment Global Certification Award as the most trusted Government Institution in Uganda basing on the survey conducted by Public Opinions for the period January 2024 to May 2024. This is why Ugandans honestly celebrate the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control in the Ministry of Internal Affairs-Buyinza Adam Luzindana Team Leader/CEO of Public Opinions stated.
The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) has made significant strides in regulating and facilitating immigration, citizenship, and refugee affairs in Uganda. Since its establishment under the Uganda Citizenship and Immigration Control Act, 2006, the directorate has worked tirelessly to ensure the efficient management of migration processes, promotion of national security, and protection of Ugandan citizens’ rights.
