Agatha Nalubwama Brings Free Medical Services to Kangulumira Community in Kayunga Distritc

Agatha Nalubwama, Agatha Nalubwama, a renown community Organizer and Development Promoter in Kayunga District, has demonstrated her commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of the community by organizing a successful medical outreach camp in Kangulumira subcounty. The event, held at Kawoomya Health Centre III, drew thousands of people, mostly women and the elderly, who benefited from free medical services.
The medical camp, themed “Obulamu Bwebugaga,” aimed to provide quality healthcare services to the community, promote health awareness, and identify the health needs of the subcounty. Agatha Nalubwama, known for her passion for social economic transformation, took the opportunity to gather feedback from the community, engaging with residents and understanding their health concerns.
The “Obulamu Bwebugaga Initiative,” launched by Agatha Nalubwama, focuses on providing free health testing services, medical care, and counseling support to those suffering from chronic diseases. This initiative aligns with her vision to enhance the quality of life for the people of Kayunga District. The Kangulumira Obulamu Bwebugaga Medical Outreach was organized by Hon Agatha Nalubwama in partnership with Nama Wellness Organization which is based in Nama Subcounty Mukono District.
The Obulamu Bwebugaga Initiative is committed to organise Community medical camps in kayunga district becuase they offer numerous benefits, including:Increased access to healthcare services for rural and vulnerable populations,Early detection and treatment of health issues, reducing morbidity and mortality rates,Health education and awareness, empowering individuals to take charge of their health,Strengthening of health systems through collaboration with local health authorities
Agatha Nalubwama expressed her gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni for his efforts in building health centers in the district, improving access to healthcare for the community. She also commended Dr. Diana Atwiine, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, for her dedication to ensuring a robust health sector and urged her to increase monitoring of hospitals to maintain quality services.
This medical outreach camp demonstrates Agatha Nalubwama’s commitment to the wellbeing of the people of Kayunga District, showcasing her dedication to improving healthcare and quality of life. Her initiatives align with the government’s efforts to enhance healthcare services, making her a strong advocate for the community’s needs.
