Nominations Ongoing for Induction into Uganda Development Champions Book of Records by Public Opinions
Public Opinions, a leading field-based organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development in Uganda, is conducting a nationwide survey to identify and recognize personalities who have made significant contributions to achieving Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The nominations, which are currently ongoing, seek to recognize individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to driving positive change in various sectors, including but not limited to:

The profiles of confirmed personalities will be published in the 2024/2025 Uganda Development Champions Book of Records, a prestigious publication that showcases Uganda’s most outstanding leaders and change-makers.
Public Opinions has been at the forefront of promoting public awareness, information dissemination, research, training, and mentorship, among other initiatives aimed at achieving Uganda Vision 2040 and the UN SDGs.
In 2022, the organization recognized H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of the Republic of Uganda, with the Responsible Investment Global Certification Award as the Uganda Peace and Development Champion. The award was presented at a ceremony presided over by President Museveni, who dedicated it to the NRA Protracted Liberation Bush war heroes who fought and liberated Uganda from past tyrannical regimes. In the same year, Public Opinions published the 2022 Uganda Who is Who Great Leaders Hall of Fame poster, featuring photos of outstanding leaders from both the public and private sectors. Over 200,000 copies of the poster have been distributed nationwide, creating awareness about great leaders and inspiring others to work towards achieving Uganda’s National Development Plan.
The 2024 Uganda Development Champions Book of Records is an outcome of the 2022 Uganda Peace and Development Champion Award presented to President Museveni. This year, outstanding leaders will be inducted into the Uganda Development Champions Book of Records, and their profiles will be published on major online news platforms in Uganda and East Africa.
